The Aquagreen ‘Plug & Play’ system is a water treatment system for open pond fish farms. Water flows from the top down, filtering particles, removing CO2 and ammonia, and oxygenating the water before being recycled back into the pond. It overcomes two key aquaculture challenges: limited water availability and buildup of toxic ammonia excreted by the fish. The system biologically treats the water used to eliminate the ammonia buildup and oxygenates the water, substantially cutting the amount of water needed by 85%.
